Used in its most concentrated form, the Cycle Germicidal is a disinfectant. This is a professional grade disinfectant, registered and legal for sale in the state of California as a true disinfectant. The only disinfectant recognized as this powerful is chlorine bleach. But with this product, it is far less toxic. Dilute it and use as a sanitizer!
This product is a 100% naturally derived cleaner, made primarily from replenishable natural resources. It is non-hazardous, biodegradable and non-toxic.
The Cycle Germicidal is one of the only germicidals on the market that is almost entirely non-toxic, and non-hazardous. As is the case for industry approved germicidals, the Cycle Germicidal contains quaternary ammonium chloride. This is a required ingredient for hospital grade disenfectants. It is dangerous if swallowed. In the industry, there is no way to get around this ingredient right now. This is what Green Home calls an "environmentally preferred" alternative, meaning that it is not perfect but there is nothing better on the market right now, both in terms of effectiveness and environmental safety. The Cycle line is best suited for industry and is not recommended for residential use.
This product is super concentrated. To make a disinfectant that rivals bleach in its power, you still only need to use one ounce per gallon of water! this is a 128:1 ratio! Please do the math to see the savings from this amazing product.
To make a sanitizer (i.e. for food prep areas, tables, etc.) you only need to use 1/4 of an ounce per gallon! or 512:1 ratio! Please note: this product is only registered for use in California.
