This lamp works just about anywhere. 100-240 Volts AC, 50 or 60 Hz. Electronic ballasts consume almost no power when turned off, unlike other LED adapter-powered lamps. Other LED lamps consume almost as much power when they're off as when they're on. Conforms to California Energy Commission 2008 standards of maximum consumption in the off state of 0.5 watts.
