Pacific Rim Woodworking furniture is made of Pacific Coast Maple grown in managed forests in Washington and Oregon and built entirely in Eugene, Oregon. Each piece is hand-rubbed with a finish of tung oil and pure beeswax to highlight the natural beauty of this distinctive hardwood. All beds are guaranteed to be free of defects in both material and workmanship.
The platform version supports futon, foam or innerspring mattress. The box spring option comes with a larger footboard, taller head and foot posts and lowered side rails. Hand crafted Maplewood Furniture by Pacific Rim, is free of toxic glues, formaldehyde and particle board and is considered environmentally safe for your children's bedroom and nursery. Completely untreated and natural pieces are also available from Pacific Rim. We recommend you ask for completely unfinished and untreated Maple Wood if you have any environmental allergies or sensitivities. Takes 8-10 weeks to make by hand from the time of your order. Adult signature required upon delivery. You will need to be there to examine your purchase when it arrives to confirm that it is free of defects; otherwise if you accept delivery and still wish to return it, there is a 25% restocking fee for returns, as this is a handmade item. 10% cancellation fee once order has been placed and work is underway. Please note that our furniture items, because they are so high quality, are very heavy! Please know that Green Home absolutely does not make money on shipping. We often lose money on shipping. But we do our best to make sure that what you pay for shipping is what we pay for shipping. For these items, we need to charge what we call an extra "bulky" charge, which in this case is $160 on top of regular Green Home charges of 5% per $100. So if the unit costs $875, shipping will be $43.75 + $195 for a total of $238.75. All dressers are shipped via ABF, which is a very good carrier..
